Halloween

We had fun this year with our daughter. Although Jacob was a party pooper and didn't dress up for our Ward Halloween Party! BOOO! But, Kori and I were super cute (mostly Kori).

She was so adorable in her pumpkin costume!

On Halloween we dressed up Kori in her 'My First Halloween' onsie and went over to the Kirby's for Trick-or-Treating. It was fun, but we didn't really trick-or-treat, just walked around.

So, two days ago, I was playing with Kori during belly-time and I noticed she kept trying to swing her legs and it looked like she wanted to roll over, so I helped her bring her arm up and she turned her head and swung her legs over and landed on her back! Yay! I was so happy. Luckily Jacob was home to see it the first time! I'm really glad he was there to witness it! But, I did end up recording one of her roll-overs (with the help of mommy).

She's growing up so fast! I love every second of it!

October Events

Happy Halloween!!

So, Jacob had his 26th birthday this month!!! Yay! We were having fun taking some pictures. Kori was staring at the fan and laughing and Jacob looked up to see what she was laughing at. It was so cute!

And, Kori is now holding her head up very well when she is on her belly. Soon she'll be rolling all over the place! She's growing up too fast!!!

  



Carlsbad Trip!!

So, in September we took our first "family" vacation. Kori was only 7 weeks old at the time. It was so much fun, until Daddy had to leave...so sad.

Month One...

Our little girl, Kori, is growing so fast! Here is her first month!

Blessing Day

On August 29, 2010 our little girl was blessed...she was so beautiful in her dress. And Jacob was so cute, he cried while giving the blessing. It was a wonderful blessing.

And, afterwards, we had a BBQ to welcome little Kori into the world.We had a pig for the big event and a bunch of other sides. It was yummy (or so I was told).

 

Most of the Ward came to partake! It was fun and Kori loved getting held by everyone.

So our special package finally arrived on August 1st @ 7:50 pm. It was a long and hard labor & delivery, but she handled it well. Myself, on the other hand, did not. Let's just say epidurals and my body do not work well together. But after all of that pain, we are able to now enjoy our little miracle. She had lots of visitors and we all felt really loved. Her are some photos of visitors and other things...

Here I am when we first got admitted into the hospital. They ran out of LDR rooms because there was so many women having babies that day, so I had to go to a postpardum room. I'm all smiles right now...

Here's our little, err, I mean big girl. She weighed 8lbs 2 ozs and was 21 1/4 in long!

Here's our doctor who delivered Kori! Dr. Pulido was very nice.

Here we are when we got into the postpardum room again. I was so exhausted from the day! But I'm glad she is perfectly healthy.

Here we are again on discharge day! We could've gone home a day earlier but, Kori's jaundice levels were a bit high so they wanted to test her again the next morning. But, we finally got to go home. We were so happy.

Here she is at home for the first time. It's amazing how wide awake she is.

And of course I couldn't resist dressing her up!!! We just think she is the cutest thing on the planet! Of course all parents should feel this way about their children. :) Stay tuned for more pics to come!
